-Seek Wisdom-
“Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.”
Proverbs 2:2-11
Seek the wisdom of God! Read His Word to grow in your knowledge and understanding of Him. God wants a relationship with us! He wants us to know Him! How do we do that? By seeking Him, reading His Word, prayer and spending time with Him.
This is something God has taught me over the years, the importance of seeking Him and growing in my knowledge of who He is. He has taught me what it means to have a relationship with Him. I have been through times where it was difficult to spend time with Him and in His Word. The world is full of distractions, and the enemy will try to pull our attention off of God. But I encourage you to keep seeking God and grow in His wisdom and knowledge. Be willing to learn from other godly mentors in your life! God has big plans for your life, trust Him as you seek Him. You are loved, chosen and worthy in the sight of God! You were created for Him.
Prayer: God, we thank you for who you are. We thank you for teaching us and drawing our hearts closer to you. May we seek your wisdom and grow in our knowledge of you! Help us to take the time to be with you, we put you on the throne of our hearts. You are our Lord and Savior! We put our faith in you alone! May you comfort us in lonely times, may you bring us joy in sorrow. May all we say and do bring glory to your name! We praise you, we thank you! May you shine bright in us this week! In the name of Jesus we pray, amen!
