Heart of Adventure

Recently I decided I would like to start sharing some of my travels and adventures from near and far on my blog. I want to start encouraging People, especially families to get outside and seek adventure! I want families to put their phones away, escape technology, escape the ordinary, and open their eyes to see the beauty all around them. There is so much to discover in nature. We are surrounded by God’s beautiful creation! We need to take the time to stop and smell the flowers… ;)

Growing up I was always outside playing with my siblings. My family and I would go to North Carolina all the time in our RV. We loved to hike, camp, ride bikes, and go rafting there. We enjoyed getting out in the fresh mountain air. Being out in nature is something I still enjoy doing with my family. Colorado is also one of the places I grew up traveling to about once a year. My parents loved this place, and I grew up loving it as well. It is so beautiful there. From the snow covered mountain peaks to the flower-covered valleys in the Spring, it was simply breathtaking. Fall was by far my favorite time of the year there. The beautiful aspen trees turn all golden when the bright sun lights them up. I would feel so at peace standing in the midst of them hearing the leaves blow in the wind.

I love going on trips with my family and seeing new places, whether it is far are near. I have been to some amazing places, I am truly blessed to have parents that love adventure as much as I do. I can't wait for our next adventure! 

So what are you waiting for!! Stop looking at everyone else's adventure and go find your own!  Adventure is just outside your door waiting for you.
